This Data Deletion Policy explains how you can request the deletion of personal information that Wern Solutions holds about you, the process we follow to handle such requests, and the timelines you can expect.

This policy applies to all data collected through our website (wernsolutions.com), our professional services, and any data obtained through Meta platforms (including Facebook Login, WhatsApp Business API integrations, and Meta Business Suite) as part of our role as a Meta Tech Provider.

2. Your Right to Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data held by Wern Solutions. This right applies to:

• Personal information collected through our website contact forms
• Business information provided during service onboarding
• Data obtained through Meta platforms as part of Tech Provider or WhatsApp Business API services
• Marketing preferences and communication history
• Any other personal data we process with your consent

3. How to Submit a Deletion Request

You can request data deletion through any of the following channels:

To process your request efficiently, please provide:

• Your full name
• Email address associated with your account or data (personal or business)
• Company name (if applicable)
• Description of the specific data you want deleted
• The service or platform through which your data was collected (e.g., website form, Facebook, WhatsApp Business)
• Any reference number or account ID if available

We may request additional verification to confirm your identity before processing the request, to protect your data from unauthorized deletion.

5. Exceptions to Deletion

In certain circumstances, we may be unable to immediately delete some or all of your personal data. This may occur when data retention is required by:

• Legal obligation: Tax records, invoicing, and financial documents required by Mexican fiscal law (SAT) for a minimum of 5 years
• Ongoing legal proceedings: Data relevant to active disputes, claims, or regulatory investigations
• Active contract obligations: Data necessary to fulfill a current active service agreement
• Fraud prevention: Data retained to prevent repeat fraudulent activity
• Meta compliance requirements: Data that Meta requires us to retain as part of our Tech Provider obligations

When exceptions apply, we will inform you of the specific reason and the expected retention period, and delete the data as soon as the retention obligation expires.

6. Data Shared with Third Parties

6.1 Meta Platforms, Inc.

If your data was shared with Meta as part of our Tech Provider activities (e.g., WhatsApp Business API onboarding, business verification), we will notify Meta of your deletion request. However, Meta's own data processing is subject to Meta's Privacy Policy and Data Deletion instructions, which are independent of Wern Solutions. You may also submit a deletion request directly to Meta at:

6.2 RethynkTech

If your data was shared with RethynkTech as part of jointly delivered services, we will notify RethynkTech of your deletion request. RethynkTech will process the deletion of your data in accordance with its own data retention and privacy policies.

6.3 Other Service Providers

We will instruct our other data processors (hosting providers, analytics, email platforms) to delete your personal data within the same 30-day timeframe where technically feasible.

7. Confirmation of Deletion

Upon completing the deletion process, we will send you a written confirmation (via email) that includes:

• Confirmation that deletion has been completed
• The date on which deletion was performed
• Any categories of data that could not be deleted, along with the reason and expected retention period
• Reference number for your records
